Can TPAQ represent me?

Because TPAQ is not a union, under workplace laws it has very limited ability to represent workers.

TPAQ cannot perform many of the basic representation functions of a union.

TPAQ cannot bring proceedings against your employer for a breach of your employment conditions as an applicant, and cannot get a permit to enter your workplace to support you and other members.

Additionally, TPAQ cannot represent you for:

• Formal unfair dismissal or bullying proceedings or applications
• Federal Court small claims proceedings as an automatic right

Finally, TPAQ cannot be covered by an Enterprise Agreement.
